Renzo Piano is the famed architect behind NYC projects like The New York Times Building, the Whitney Museum on Gansevoort, and the in-progress Manhattanville campus plan for Columbia University, but his residential debut in the city is to be at 565 Broome Street in West SoHo. Sales launched this past September for the future twin-peaked building and per a recent walk by the site, it's finally on the rise.

The Pritzker Prize-winning architect is utilizing non-segmented glass to give the structure rounded corners which will allow residents to feel as if they are floating above Manhattan. We already know one of the building's prospective occupants will be Novak Djokovic, the multiple Grand Slam-winning tennis player is a big fan of Piano's work and is also buying in Piano's Miami beach project, Eighty Seven Park.
