Toll Brothers City Living is getting in on the action at one of the hottest stretches of residential development downtown. The Tribeca blocks of Broadway, between Canal Street and City Hall is rapidly going upscale. Just this past week we’ve covered the high-end conversions of Six Cortlandt Alley and Cast Iron House. Also within the area are the newly-finished condos at 5 Franklin Place and the conversion of the 1898 New York Life Insurance Company headquarters by Don Peebles. Now, at 91 Leonard Street (353 Broadway), the David Von Spreckelsen-led Toll Brothers division is building a 19-story condo tower with 111-units inside.

Recently, the eagle-eyed photoblogger Tectonic has revealed that 91 Leonard has risen two stories above street level. The building is being fashioned by Hill West and will sport a dark masonry façade with punch-hole windows according to early renderings. Communal amenities will include a pool, fitness room, screening area, children's playroom, bike storage, courtyard, lounge, and a rooftop terrace. Sales are expected to being late this year and completion is anticipated for spring 2019.

Toll Brothers City Living currently has nine developments selling and/or under construction in the city and several more along New Jersey’s Gold Cost. The map above was published in a recent report of the division and shows the wide array of neighborhood markets the company has undertaken. Ranging from high-caliber developments enlisting A-list Architects such as Rem Koolhaas’ OMA at 121 East 22nd Street and Christian de Portzamparc at 400 Park Avenue South, to its more mid-range sale properties of Northside Piers and Maxwell Place in Hoboken. In the near future, we're looking forward to seeing more of 91 Leonard and new condo development planned for 82 King Street in West Soho.
