It's been ten years since the start of the Great Recession, and the year prior to its start was a record-setting year for Manhattan real estate. We took a look at how those buildings that launched sales at the peak of the market have performed since. Our data shows that buildings along Manhattan's west side and Harlem are the winners, and condos on the east side have had the lowest price appreciation.
The listings featured below are all within new construction buildings and conversion projects finished between 2007 and August 2008. We compared their sponsor sales to recent recent resales that came in over the past 18 months. Current availabilities are few and far between, so we've left out sold-out buildings.
