778 Park Avenue

Co-op located in Upper East Side, at The Northwest corner of East 73rd street

Description of 778 Park Avenue

The elegant 778 Park Avenue, designed by architect Rosario Candela, climbs 18 stories to a Renaissance-styled lantern pinnacle. Since the building holds just 18 apartments, most units span an entire floor, and boast features such as regal gallery halls, 11-foot ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, and outdoor terraces. The bicycle storage room lets residents park their bike after a brisk ride through nearby Central Park.

Carter Horsley's Review of 778 Park Avenue

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"One of the few pre-World War II residential towers to rise above the 15-story height of most of the avenue's apartment buildings, this 18-story apartment building at 778 Park Avenue on the northwest corner at 73rd Street was designed by Rosario Candela for developer Charles Newmark.

Candela is widely considered to have been the country's greatest designer of luxury apartment buildings and he collaborated with many of the city's most famous architectural firms." Read Carter's Full Review
