Marketing starts at 10 West End Avenue

Apollo Real Estate Advisors and Cambridge Development & Construction have begun marketing a 31-story residential condominium tower at 10 West End Avenue on the full blockfront between 59th and 60th Streets.

Construction recently started on the 173-unit development which is just to the west of The Element, a 35-story condo tower being developed by Brack Capital at 555 West 59th Street, and the Hudson Condominiums at 225 West 60th Street.

The building will have 1- to 4-bedroom apartments and is due for completion in about a year. Prices will range from abut $750,000 to about $4.5 million.

The building will have many balconies, a bicyle room, a children's "activity center created by the Children's Museum of Manhattan, on-premise valet parking, a fitness center of Ari Weller and interiors by Nick Dine.

Apollo was a co-developer with The Related Companies of the Time-Warner Center on Columbus Circle.

The area west of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is in the midst of a building boom. Extell Development has recently started marketing two large towers on Riverside Boulevard between 64th and 65th Street and the John Jay College is planning a major expansion on its property at 59th Street.

The building will have an 11-story base with a central tower with balconies at the corners in the middle for much of its height.
