The 8-story building under construction at 425 East 13th Street has been renamed "A Building" and is expected to be ready for occupancy in about six months.

It will have almost 90 residential condominium apartments, a 24-hour concierge and a health club with pool and cabanas on the roof.

The building will have many balconies with glass railings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass-enclosed bridge with angled roofline over its large rear court.

Robert Kaliner is the developer and Cetra/Ruddy is the architect for the mid-block project between First Avenue and Avenue A in the East Village.

The property was acquired last year for $19,763,000, or about $295 a square foot, from Time Equities Inc.

A three-bedroom penthouse with 1,900 square feet of space and 400 feet of exterior space is expected to be priced at about $2,975,000.
