The Chesapeake Overview

This handsome, 30-story apartment building was erected in 1999 by Hal Fetner and has 208 rental apartments.

The red-brick building at 345 East 94th Street has an entrance marquee, a concierge, consistent fenestration, a garage, sidewalk landscaping, and discrete air-conditioners. Many of the apartments on higher floors have excellent views. There are no balconies.

There is good cross-town bus service on 96th Street and a local subway station at 96th Street and Lexington Avenue. There is an entrance to the FDR Drive at 96th Street and there are some nearby parks.

There is good local shopping, lively nightlife nearby and this location is convenient to the attractive Carnegie Hill neighborhood.
