It`s within waling distance to Central Park, Riveside Park, Amer Mus of Nat`l History, and Lincoln Center (66th Street). Also in neighborhood are Fairway, Zabars, numerous restaurants, grocery stores, health clubs, museums, and music schools. More Comments About the Building

"Full time dm and supers, elev, parking garage, gorgeous roof deck, laundry in the basement, pet friendly, duane reade in bldg. The coop has a decent board. They are in the middle in terms of how liberal they are. For example, you can only move in between 9-5 and they are strict on this. You can not carry any large boxes through the main entrance. You must use the service elev. only. They do allow pets of all sizes. They are managed by Douglass Elliman and easily accessible. Alterations are generally permitted, but it takes about a month for approval. This bldg. is one 1 block from the 1,2,3 line subway line. This is probably one of the best coops in the city when it comes to convenience. Zabars,Citarella, Fairway, Bed Bath, Filenes, H and H Bagels, Cafe Lalo and Cafe Edgars, Loews Theatres, Lincoln Center The Beacon Theatre, The Museum of Natural History, Central Park, Stand Up Comedy, Circuit City, Staples, Amsterdam Billards, Barnes Noble. Well known eateries include, Haru, Citrus, Popover Cafe, Good Enough to Eat, WestSide Brewery, Sarabeths, Josie`s, Fred`s, High Life, Brother Jimmy`s, Chirpin Chicken, Isabella`s etc. Basically everything you need is within 10 blocks. This area is actually a lot better than the 86th east side shops and restaurants area."
"Post war building wih full time doorman. Some of the amenities are garage, rooftop deck, and laundry room in the basement. Grand entrance lobby and fully renovated. The board does not look favorable at guarantors, parents buying for children or children buying for parents. No pied-a-terre allowed, Centrally located on 79th St and Amsterdan. Public transportation available right on 79th St. Best restaurants and shops in the neighborhood."
"coop, pied-a-terre allowed, Roof Deck, CentralLaundry, VideoSecurity"
