The Trent, 124 East 91st Street

Co-op located in Carnegie Hill, between Park Avenue & Lexington Avenue

Comment About the Building

The building just underwent an extensive beautification project. The lobby was gutted and redone with a gracious prewar look which includes white carrera marble floors with contrasting black granite trim, new lighting, dentil moldings and a fresh coat of paint. The building has storage lockers for each apartment, a laundry room and bike room. The co-op financials are excellent. The maintenance on the apartments is low compared to similar buildings in the neighborhood. There is a 15 year amortizing mortgage on the building. In other words, in December 2021 there will no longer be an underlying mortgage. Reasonable board. 80% financing is permitted. They are mostly looking for good financials and someone who will be an occupant. Subletting is permitted after the owner has lived in in the apartment for at least 1 year. The sublease term is 1 year with the option to renew for 1 more year at the discretion of the board. This charming building is situated on one of the prettiest, tree lined blocks in Carnegie Hill. It is directly across from the 92nd St Y which has wonderful programs and cultural events for singles, couples and families. It is only a 5 block walk to the 4, 5 and 6 subway lines.
