White glove building on 5th Ave b/w 67th & 68th, designed in 1950 by Sylvan Bien. Elegant white-brick post-war building with full staff: concierge, elevator men, doorman, porters etc. Many amenities including a discounted garage ($378), bicycle room, storage, garden, fitness room, common storage and a wine cellar. Small pets permitted. Pied a terres allowed. Its doesnt get better than this. Tough board. 50% down. High liquidity and income required. Very extensive board package. Dogs are interviewed. Board does review the packages on a timely basis. Subway isnt too far: Lex and 68th (6) & 59th and 5th (N,R,Q, F). Main draw is central park and all the high end shopping on madison ave and 5th avenue. Top restuarants: Daniel and Cafe Boulud. Madison Gourmet Grocer is near by.
