310 West End Avenue: Review and Ratings

between West 74th Street & West 75th Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 310 West End Avenue by Carter Horsley

This quite distinguished, brown-brick apartment building was erected in 1925 and converted to a cooperative in 1993.

The 15-story structure has 65 units.

Designed in the style of Italian Renaissance palazzos, the building has attractive window reveals, a cornice, two bandcourses and a very nice, small marble lobby and a canopied entrance. The building permits protruding air-conditioners and has inconsistent fenestration and no sidewalk landscaping.

The building, which has an elevator person, has an excellent location that is convenient to shopping and many restaurants.

It is one block from Riverside Park and a few blocks from public transportation.
