330 West End Avenue: Review and Ratings

between West 75th Street & West 76th Street View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 330 West End Avenue by Carter Horsley

This small, handsome, red-brick apartment building was erected in 1917 and converted to a cooperative in 1981.

The 15-story, midblock structure has only 21 units

The building has an unusual, angled, step-up lobby. The nicely detailed façade has two bandcourses. The building permits protruding air-conditioners and has consistent fenestration and no sidewalk landscaping.

It has an excellent location that is convenient to shopping and many restaurants. It is one block from Riverside Park and a few blocks from public transportation.
