Fox News Anchor lists Greenwich condo; Russell Simmons glad he stuck it out in WTC neighborhood; Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig intent on calling TriBeCa home

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith is shedding his Village condo at The Greenwich for an asking price of $4 million. The popular host of Fox Report with Shepard Smith and Studio B with Shepard Smith bought the 2,342 square foot, two-bedroom prewar condo in 1994 for $1,875 mil. He’ll be leaving behind several notable neighbors including designer Michael Kors and tech whiz/art collector Peter Norton (of Norton Utilities fame) (The Real Estalker).

Hip-hop impresario/entrepreneur/activist Russell Simmons talks about life in the World Trade Center area, how he helped with its recovery and rebirth after 9/11 and why he stuck out the tough years amid construction and attrition. Simmons likens his Liberty Street penthouse overlooking the WTC site to “being in Dubai without having to travel. Lots of activity and construction…full of promise and change.” (NYPost)

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are reportedly mad for TriBeCa. The Bond man and his fellow Brit bride have been looking at lofts in the neighborhood in the $8 to $15 million range, and the couple, who bonded on the set of soon-to-be-released horror flick Dream House, hope to find theirs somewhere on Greenwich or Walker Streets soon (NYPost).
