This attractive, 6-story building at 1311 Pacific Street at Nostrand and New York avenues in Crown Heights has 32 apartments and was built in 2010.  It is known as Pacific Street Lofts.

It was developed by 1320 Atlantic Realty and designed by Loadingdock5, which is headed by Harry Knoll, Werner Morath and Sam Bargetz.

The development is also known as Terrace House 2 and is close to two other Loadingdock5 projects, 934 Pacific Street and 904 Pacific Street.

Bottom Line

External stairs behind half-story screens are a very attractive alternative to traditional fire escapes and nicely divide the building into four major sections each with deep balconies that give the façade a handsome compartmentalized look.

The building is distinguished by its external stairs that divide the building into four sections and are an attractive alternative to traditional fire-escapes.  The stairs are located behind dark screens that are each a half-story in height and have four horizontal bands.

The building has a keyed elevator access, a fitness center, storage, a party room, a laundry, a garage and allows pets.  

Apartments

Apartments have polished concrete floors and sliding doors that open onto balconies.  Kitchens have butcher block countertops and stainless steel appliances.  Bathrooms are windowed and have rainfall showers.  Video intercom and security systems are included in every apartment.

Apartments are 40-foot-long lofts with open kitchens and 132-square-foot balconies.
