Review of 39 Gramercy Park North by Carter Horsley

This 17-story, red-brick apartment building was built in 1957 and converted to a cooperative in 1969. Just down 21st street from historic Gramercy Park, the building has 89 apartments, many with balconies. This area is one of the most popular in the city because of the beauty of the landmark Gramercy Park, which is private, and its adjacency to the fine architecture, spectacular restaurants, active retail and convenient transportation of the Flatiron District.
