Carter Horsley
Review of 45 Fifth Avenue by Carter Horsley

This attractive 16-story apartment building was erected in 1923 and converted to a cooperative in 1983. It has 63 apartments. The building is in a very prime and elegant Lower Fifth Avenue location directly north of the very elegant, Parisian-style apartment building at 43 Fifth and directly across from the very handsome First Presbyterian Church on its large gardens. Its location is convenient to not only Greenwich Village but also the Union Square District with their many restaurants, stores and boutiques.
