Review of 435 East 76th Street by Carter Horsley

This pleasant 8-story, mid-block, red-brick building between First and York Avenues has 26 condominium apartments and was developed by Amir Chaluts of S&H Equities and completed in 2003.

Apartments range in size from one-bedroom units to four-bedroom penthouses that have private terraces, fireplaces and direct elevator access. Initial prices ranged from $385,000 to $2.6 million. There are two professional units on the first floor.

Residents have access to a private landscaped garden. Many apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows.

The building has an orange marble one-story base with a glass entrance door and sidewalk landscaping and it has a concierge and an exposed rooftop watertank.

It is just east of a garage and across the street from the New York Gracie Square Hospital.
