Review of 165 West 66th Street by Carter Horsley

This 20-story, white-brick apartment building was one of the first large residential projects to open at the time of the completion of the nearby Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.Built in 1964, the building's south façade is highlighted by a central bay of recessed balconies that serve several apartments on each floor. The 375 apartments were converted to cooperatives in 1984. Its location is wonderful as it is on a fairly quiet street but within short walking distances of wonderful shopping and entertainment. Amenities and staff at this pet-friendly, full-service luxury high-rise include a 24-hour doorman, garage with entrance inside the building, package room, storage room, bike room, playroom, laundry room, and gym.
