Carter Horsley's Review of 270 West End Avenue

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This attractive, 13-story, gray-brick building was erected in 1918 and converted to a cooperative in 1971. It has 35 apartments.

This neighborhood, just north of the very popular Lincoln Center District, is very convenient to public transportation as an express subway station is nearby at Broadway and 72nd Street. Excellent shopping and many restaurants are nearby and Riverside Park is just a block away. The huge new residential complex being developed nearby by Donald Trump and known as Riverside South a couple of blocks to the south is expected to add not only to the neighborhood's retail vitality but also to impact its congestion."
