This 16-story, red-brick, midblock building was erected in 1920 and converted to a cooperative in 1984.

It has 93 apartments.

The building, which has an exposed rooftop watertank, has a three-story limestone base and a canopied entrance and a concierge. It has consistent fenestration and permits protruding air-conditioners. Its facade is not entirely original.

The building is catty-corner to P.S. 75, which is between 95th and 96th Streets, but the low-rise school does provide this building with more "light-and-air."

While 96th Street is less than distinguished between Broadway and Riverside Drive, West End Avenue is very attractive for several blocks above it and the avenue is exceptional attractive for several blocks south of this building.

One block from Riverside Park, this building is very convenient to public transportation and neighborhood shopping as 96th Street and Broadway is a major Upper West Side intersection. There is considerable traffic nearby at the entrance to the Henry Hudson Drive.
