Coppersmith Landing,
247 Water Street

247 Water Street Location Map

Overview of Coppersmith Landing at 247 Water Street

Coppersmith Landing is a pre-war condominium building at 274 Water Street in Manhattan's Financial District neighborhood finished in 1900 and converted in 1998. It gets its name from it original use: housing coppersmith Samuel Thompson. The building is a shining example of the Greek Revival style and has been designated a historic landmark.

Only five units occupy this boutique four-story building, which makes for excellent privacy and security. The building offers a shared roof deck, but perhaps its greatest asset is its location near the revitalized Financial District and South Street Seaport. Local attractions include The Fulton, iPic movie theater, Pier 17, and the myriad transportation offerings of the Fulton Street subway stop.
