Erected in 2002 by the Brodsky Organization, this attractive, 23-story rental apartment building at 360 West 43rd Street is known as The Presidential and has a red-brick base beneath a beige-brick tower that has a curved west façade with deep red window millions and floor slab covers.

It occupies the east blockfront on Ninth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets.

It has 256 apartments.

It was designed by Schuman Lichtenstein Claman & Efron and Robert Kane.

The project incorporates four 19th Century row houses on Ninth Avenue.  The building has a 10-story wing.

The building is extremely convenient to Times Square and the Theater District and the many restaurants of Ninth Avenue as well as the nearby bus terminal.

There is excellent public transportation.

Bottom Line

Well located near the many restaurants of Ninth Avenue near the Theater District, this mid-rise tower has some corner windows and good amenities.

Description

The beige-brick tower, which rises from a low-rise base, has a curved west façade with red window mullions and floor slab covers. 

The entrance has a marquee suspended on cables from the fourth floor. 

It has an exposed rooftop watertank.
