The Townsway, 145 East 27th Street: Review and Ratings
between Lexington Avenue & Third Avenue View Full Building Profile
Convenient to the bustling and trendy Flatiron and Midtown South Districts, this slim slab tower has an unusually bold roofline created by indented terraces at the corner on the next to the top floor and setbacks at the corners and in the middle on the top floor. The second floor from the top also has a different pattern of windows than the rest of the tower.
The building's façade is two-tone with horizontal banding on the sides and vertical emphasis on the main frontage.
The 14-story building was erected by Algin Management in 1964. It has a doorman, a garage, and a sundeck.
