Jen never really strayed far from the neighborhood in her search, and she has reportedly closed on a $5.9 Million penthouse—previously owned by celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger—with one bedroom, 1 bath and an 800-square foot terrace with panoramic views as well as the $1.8 Million 1 bedroom downstairs. NY Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony seems to be collecting rental apartments in the West Side buildings The Aldyn and The Ashley. The apartments are home to Anthony’s relatives and various assistants; Melo himself lives in a $19,000-a-month four bedroom penthouse apartment at the Aldyn, which, like the Ashley, offers a basketball court and an indoor pool. Top model-turned-TV host Heidi Klum is hunting for a New York apartment for herself, hubby Seal and their two children. The supermodel reportedly looked into renting three penthouses at 55 Thompson Street—she offered $100k for all three for six weeks—but was shown the door at the long-term rental-only building.
