This week: Cool Waters!

CitySol Music Festival
This low-key outdoor music festival (plus art installations, workshops and more) is a great chance to enjoy the beauty of Stuyvesant Cove Park on the East River and features talented local bands with none of the crowd-crush of bigger outdoor events. CitySol happens courtesy of SolarOne, with the aim of educating visitors about sustainability and alternative energy sources.
Thursday, June 26 - Sunday, June 29
Stuyvesant Cove Park, 23rd Street at the East River
Cost: Free

New York City Waterfalls
The much-discussed, cleverly-mocked New York City Waterfalls turn on the taps on Thursday June 26. The falls are part of a public art project by artist Olafur Eliasson, feature man-made waterfalls suspended in mid-air, and can be found at four locations including Pier 35 in Manhattan.
June 26 - October 13

Learn more about the raunch-and-camp-loving filmmaker when he takes the stage to tell tales of his life, early influences and lord knows what else. $100 FilthyVIP tickets include a meet-and-greet with Mr. Waters and an autographed DVD.
