Vintage Subway Cars on the M Line
Historic vintage subway cars are back for the holidays, and they’re worth seeing for the sense of the city’s history they evoke. The “nostalgia train”—restored subway cars from 1932 to 1977—will run along the M line between Queens and Lower Manhattan on Sundays only, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., from November 28th to December 26th. Buses from the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s will be in use as well. Fares, unfortunately, will remain in the present. Check the MTA site for more information.
