This attractive, 20-story, red-brick cooperative apartment building at 1 Gracie Terrace between East End Avenue and the FDR Drive was erected in 1952 and has 158 apartments. 

It is notable for its continuous white balconies facing the East River. 

It is between 82nd and 83rd streets and is close to the Brearley and Chapin schools.
