This attractive, 20-story, red-brick cooperative apartment building at 1 Gracie Terrace between East End Avenue and the FDR Drive was erected in 1952 and has 158 apartments. 

It is notable for its continuous white balconies facing the East River. 

It is between 82^nd and 83^rd streets and is close to the Brearley and Chapin schools.
