Review of 345 East 86th Street by Carter Horsley

This 21-story, beige-brick building was erected in 1971 and converted to a cooperative in 1981. It has 119 apartments.

Setback in a plaza, the building has some sidewalk landscaping and a large black coat of arms of the Campagna family, the developers of the building, is beside the step-up entrance, which has a canopy.

The building, which has a garage, has a setback tower with balconies and a small, marble lobby with a doorman. The building has consistent fenestration and discrete air-conditioners.

There is convenient neighborhood shopping and many nearby restaurants as well as excellent crosstown bus service. An express subway station is not too far away at Lexington Avenue and 86th Street.
