This handsome, red-brick, 23-story building was erected in 2000 as a rental apartment building and was converted in 2007 to 128 residential condominiums.

The building, which is known as Century Tower, has a doorman, a concierge, a revolving entrance door, a garage, consistent fenestration, bay windows, bicycle room, business center, valet service, storage space, and a sun deck.

The building is close to Carl Schurz Park, the Asphalt Green recreation center and The East River.

There is excellent cross-town bus service on 86th Street and a subway station at Broadway and 86th Street.

The building, which was erected by RFD, is also known as 1738 First Avenue.

It was designed by H. Thomas O'Hara.
