This very attractive, 10-story rental apartment building at 27 Albany Avenue at the corner of Fulton Street in the Stuyvesant Heights section of Brooklyn was erected in 2017 and has 50 apartments of which 10 are “affordable.”

BRP Companies is the developer.

Loci Architecture designed the building and Meltzer Mandl Architects is the executive architect.

The building has 6,354 square feet of commercial and retail space and 8,640 square feet of community facility space.

Apartments begin on the third floor.

Bottom Line

A handsome and colorful and angled mid-rise rental building in the Stuyvesant Heights section of Brooklyn.

Description

This smoke-free building has a 6-story, light orange-colored base that projects at a slight angle in front of the main, red, 8-story façade that has a setback light gray, two-story top that extends down, beneath an angled upward brise de soleil, two more stories in the center top of the long light-orange base.

Amenities

The building has a virtual doorman, a gym, a bicycle room, a roof deck, a game room and lounge, a package room, one-site parking and storage.  It allows pets.

Apartments have GE washers and dryers.

Apartment 308 is a two-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long living room with a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large terrace.

Apartment 403 is a two-bedroom unit with a 14-foot-long living room with a windowed kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Apartment 401 is a two-bedroom unit with an angled, 14-foot-long living room with an open kitchen with an island and slightly angled bedrooms.

Apartment 303 is a two-bedroom unit with a 13-foot-long living room with a windowed kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Apartment 305 is a one-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long living room and a kitchen with a breakfast bar.
