Carter Horsley's Building Review Carter Horsley
Aug 18, 2015

Carter's Review

This very pleasant, low-rise, red-brick, residential development at 328 Bergen Street in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn was erected in 2003.

It was designed by Bricolage Design of which Henry Radusky is a principal for Isaac Katan.

It has 10 condominium apartments and it is immediately adjacent to 330 Bergen Street, which has a very similar design and has 29 apartments.

These developments should not be confused with another “Park Avenue Court” at 110 Fourth Street.

Bottom Line

A handsome, red-brick low-rise development with nice façade detailing and three-bedroom apartments.

Description

The red-brick building has a one-story, rusticated limestone base with sidewalk landscaping behind a nice cast-iron fence.

It has very attractive, multi-pane fenestration with very attractive curved cast-iron railings on the second floor and numerous balconies with curved cast-iron railings on the upper floors.

The wooden-door entrances are in arched entrance surrounds that have light sconces.

Amenities

The building a roof deck and a key-locked elevator, but no doorman and no concierge.
