Carter's Review
This very handsome, Art Deco-style building is a rare example of the use of bold color in New York residential real estate.
The brown-brick rental apartment building has a very colorful façade with terracotta ornament and angled brick spandrels. The building has multipaned windows, but does not have a doorman and has an exposed rooftop watertank.
It is on a very pleasant block, a short walk from Central Park and a subway station. There is excellent cross-town bus service on this street and many attractive sidewalk caf¿s on Columbus Avenue just to the south.
