Carter Horsley
Review of 136 West 22nd Street by Carter Horsley

This handsome, red-brick, 14-story building was erected in 2001 and has 210 rental apartments.

The building has attractive masonry, a doorman, a canopied entrance, a nice lobby, sidewalk landscaping, a roof deck, consistent fenestration and a garage. It has some terraces but no balconies and no health club.

It is across the street from the School of Visual Arts.

There is good shopping and many nearby restaurants.

There is good cross-town bus service and subway stations at 23rd Street.
