Carter's Review
This handsome, 6-story, red-brick building at 205 West 15th Street on the northwest corner at Seventh Avenue in Chelsea was erected in 1940 and has 113 rental apartments. It is known as the Chelsmore.
Its location is not far from the great Chelsea Market complex on Ninth Avenue and 15th Street and is also convenient for public transportation, many restaurants and boutiques and is also close to Greenwich Village.
Bottom Line
A modest red-brick building at a good location in central Chelsea with a very good Art Deco-Style entrance surround, numerous lightwell courtyards and many corner windows.
