Carter's Review
This handsome residential condominium building at 135 West 14th Street was scheduled for completion in the fall of 2007.
Known Loft 14, it has 9 units.
Patrick Thompson, a principal of the sponsor, 135 West 14 St. LLC, told CityRealty.Com that the building was partially cantilevered over an adjacent property from which air rights had been acquired.
Apartments range in size from about 1,600 to 2,500 square feet and all have exterior space.
William Q. Brothers was the architect.
Mr. Thompson, who is a member of The Vintage Group, said that pricing started at a little over $2 million and goes to more than $3 million. He said that the building has a virtual doorman service that can permit the delivery of packages.
The lobby has a stand of bamboo, Brazilian slate floor and cherry wood walls and elevators open directly into the apartments, which have wide-plank Brazilian Garapia wood flooring.
Apartments on floors 4 through 10 have fireplaces and the 10-story building has a garden courtyard.
