This attractive, 7-story residential building at 490 Myrtle Avenue at Hall Street in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn was erected in 2016 and has 93 rental apartments including 19 “affordable” units.

It was erected by Madison Realty Capital.

It was designed by ASAP Architects.

Tersigni Palachek was the interior designer.

It is a block away from the Pratt Institute.

Bottom Line

This handsome, mid-rise building has a nice industrial-aesthetic with very handsome interior designs with grey-and-white accents and elegant lighting fixtures, all a block away from the famous Pratt Institute in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn.

Description

The burgundy brick façades give way to a cast-stone corner over a two-story-high entrance.

The façades are strongly accented by metal piers and projecting brick spandrels.

Most of the building is 6 stories tall with dark metal simple cornices above cast-stone elements.

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour attended lobby, an attended garage, a gym, garden terraces with barbecues, a sundeck with reflecting pool, wet bar, and elegantly lit cabanas and communal tables with striking lighting fixtures, and a dog run and pet grooming station.  There is a laundry on the second floor.

Apartments

Apartments have white oak flooring, 8-foot-6-inch high ceilings, and washers and dryers.

Kitchens have Caesarstone countertops and backspashes and stainless-steel appliances by Bosch and Fisher & Paykel.

Bathrooms have walnut stained oak vanities.

Apartment 7Q is a two-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long living room with an open kitchen.

Apartment A on the third through the sixth floors is a two-bedroom unit with a 12-foot-long living room with an open kitchen and a separate office/study.

Apartment 2P is a two-bedroom unit with a 14-foot-long living room with an open kitchen and a very large patio.

Apartment D on the third through the fifth floors is a two-bedroom unit and has a 22-foot-long living room with an open kitchen.

Apartment M on the third through the sixth floors is a studio unit and has a 17-foot-long living/sleeping area and an open kitchen.
