Carter's Review

This symmetrical, 8-story, orange-brick apartment building at 556 State Street in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn has 71 units and is two blocks from the Atlantic Yards project.

It was developed by Denali Construction of which John Scarpinito is a principal.

It was designed by Harry Radusky of Bricolage Design.

The building, which is also known as 555-563 Atlantic Avenue, has a concierge, a doorman, a roof deck, many balconies, valet parking, fitness center, and an entrance marquee.

The apartments have 9-foot ceilings, stainless steel GE Profile kitchen appliances, granite kitchen countertops and storage units. There are deeded parking spaces.

The building, which is known as Boerum Heights, is convenient to public transportation. It was completed in 2008.
