This 18-story co-operative apartment building at 85 Livingston Street was erected in 1964 by Carol Management and designed by Philip Birnbaum.  It is known as the Robert Livingston.  It has 238 apartments.

It is one block from Borough Hall and several subways.

Bottom Line

With its very convenient location close to Borough Hall and Brooklyn Heights, this large apartment building is also very close to a 12-screen movie theater, a Barnes & Noble store and a Trader Joe’s food store.

Description

The building has a plain, yellow-orange masonry façade with good sidewalk landscaping, a red granite entrance surround and a canopied entrance.

It has central air-conditioning.
