This very handsome 19-story residential condominium building at 123 Third Avenue on the southeast corner at 14th Street was completed in 2010. 

It has 47 apartments. 

Orange Management Inc., of which Andrew Bradfield is a principal, and the F & T Group developed the project. 

Perkins Eastman served as the architect.

Bottom Line

A stunning upgrade to the 14th Street and southern Third Avenue corridors, this very handsome building has many corner windows and excellent fenestration patterns.

Description

It has discrete air-conditioners and some corner windows and some terraces, as well as about 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 

Its gray face and blue-tinted windows are in context with its neighbor to the south, 111 Third Avenue, and across the avenue, One Ten 3rd at 110 Third Avenue. 

It is also across the avenue and half a block to the west of the impressive and ornate Con Edison building.

The building is setback above the 14th floor and the upper floors have small balconies that face west.

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour doorman, a fitness center and lounge, a storage room, a laundry room, a roof deck, a garden with an outdoor kitchen and a movie screen on the second floor.

Apartments

The building, which is also known as 200 East 14th Street, has apartments that range in size from 515 to 2,300 square feet and have 10- or 11-foot-high ceilings. 

Apartments have Poliform kitchens with Miele appliances, and Bosch washers and dryers. 

Floors are made of five-inch select grade white oak hardwood. 

Residence D on the 3rd through the 5th floors is a one-bedroom unit that has a 23-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen. 

Residence B on floors 2 through 14 is a one-bedroom unit with a 14-foot-wide living/dining room next to a 13-foot-long, pass-through kitchen. 

Residence C on the 11th and 12th floors wit a two-bedroom unit that has an entrance hall that leads to a 23-foot-long living/dining room with a 13-foot-wide balcony and a 16-foot-long, pass-through kitchen. 

Residence B on the 5th and 16th floors is a duplex unit with a 19-foot-living wide living room, an 11-foot-long enclosed kitchen and a 16-foot-wide dining room next to a 31-foot-wide terrace on the lower level and two bedrooms on the upper level. 

Residence A on the 15th and 16th floors has a 41-foot-long living/dining room next to an enclosed 18-foot-long kitchen and a 68-foot-long wrap-around terrace on the lower level and two bedrooms with a 12-foot-wide balcony on the upper level. 

Penthouse 17 has a entry hall that leads to two bedrooms and a 24-foot-long terrace to the east and a third bedroom and a 27-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen with an island and a 12-foot-wide balcony to the west. 

Penthouse 18 is a duplex unit with a 36-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen with an island and a 23-foot-wide balcony and two bedrooms and a 24-foot-balcony on the lower level and a small third bedroom, a 12-foot-wide solarium and an 18-foot-wide terrace on the upper level. 

History

The property was acquired in 2008 for about $17.5 million from Danrose LLC and 123 Third Avenue Realty LLC.
