Delmonico's Building, 56 Beaver Street
No fee rental located in Financial District, between South William Street & Beaver Street
Description of Delmonico's Building at 56 Beaver Street
The eight-story Delmonico’s building is an officially-designated Financial District landmark that is notable for many unique qualities - its wedge-like “Flatiron” shape that predates the Flatiron Building by 12 years (Delmonico’s was completed in 1890), architect James Brown Lord’s red-hued, brick-and-stone façade with Romanesque and Renaissance motifs, and the Delmonico’s Steak House located on the ground floor. The former office building now offers rentals that come with a fitness center and a roof deck. The building sits on a centrally-located site within a five-minute walk of several subway stations, Battery Park, and a Whole Foods supermarket at One Wall Street, as well as Downtown’s ever-growing roster of shopping and dining venues.
