Bottom Line

Two adjoining and very handsome pre-war industrial buildings that have been converted to co-operative apartments not far from Gramercy Park.

Description

310 East 23rd Street has a very handsome entrance with a curved pediment beneath an oculus window and a highly decorative façade with rustication at the sides and attractive spandrels and mullions in the center. It has a bandcourse above its 10th floor.

Both buildings have canopied entrances.

Amenities

It has a roof deck, a bicycle room, a live-in superintendent and a laundry.

The building allows pets.

Apartments

Penthouse G has a long entry foyer that leads past a 7-foot-long enclosed kitchen that is next to a 12-foot-long dining area with spiral stairs to a 14-foot-wide bedroom.  The apartment also has a 13-foot-long living room on the lower level.

Apartment 11B is a two-bedroom unit that has an entry foyer that leads past a 13-foot-long kitchen to a 10-foot-long dining area and a 20-foot-long living room.

Apartment 12B is a one-bedroom duplex with an entry foyer that leads past an open kitchen to a 13-foot-long living room and a 20-foot-long loft bedroom.

Apartment 9J has an entry foyer that leads to a 25-foot-long living room with a curved wall and an open kitchen and a 7-foot-long alcove.

Apartment 8A is a one-bedroom unit that has an entry foyer that leads in one direction to a 12-foot-long den and I the other to a 21-foot-long living room with an open island with an island.
