This attractive, 7-story apartment building was erected in 2016 at 50 Greenpoint Avenue at Milton Street, a block from the East River across from midtown Manhattan.

It has 44 condominium apartments.

It was erected by Evenhar Development Corporation.

Karl Fischer was the architect.

Cl-oth Interiors was the interior designer.

The building is two avenues west of the Greenpoint Avenue G subway station and three blocks south of the India Street East River Ferry stop.

The site was acquired in 2006 but work stalled in 2009, according to ny.curbed.com.

Bottom Line

A well-located, mid-rise development in Greenpoint with great Manhattan views from its nicely landscaped roof deck and a fireplace in its residents’ lounge.

Description

The building alternates slightly protruding red-brick façades with slightly recessed windows with yellow spandrel façades with flush windows in a symmetrical array with a high fenestration ratio.

It has some balconies with glass railings, a double-height lobby with chevron-patterned flooring and a very attractive, landscaping roof deck with great views of the Waterside development in Manhattan along the East River.

Most apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows.

The top floors have four apartments with private terraces.

There are some duplex units.

The building has a revolving door entrance.

Amenities

The building has a doorman, a landscaped roof deck, a residents’ lounge with a fireplace, a gym, a children’s playroom, a media room, a package room, storage and a garage.

Apartments

Apartments have 7-inch, brushed and stained white oak floors and open kitchens with Statuary marble countertops, a Bertrazzoni cooktop, a Bosch dishwasher and a Liebherr refrigerator.

Master bathrooms have Carrara marble walls and flooring and a Nero Marquinia black marble wall with a double vanity with medicine cabinet and a wall-mounted Kohler commode.

Apartment 3H is a three-bedroom unit with a 20-foot-wide great room with a 41-square-foot balcony and an open kitchen with an island.

Apartment 5F is a two-bedroom unit with a 24-foot-long great room with an open kitchen with an island and a 44-square-foot balcony.

Apartment 3A is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads to a 19-foot-wide great room with a 97-square-foot corner balcony and an open kitchen with an island.

Apartment 4E is a one-bedroom unit with a 23-foot-wide great room with an open kitchen with an island.
