This very handsome, red-brick, 6-story apartment building at 72 Box Street between Manhattan Avenue and McGuiness Boulevard in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, looks like it’s at least a century old but it was built in 2016.

With 40-pane windows in between triple-layered piers, this red-brick, mid-rise rental apartment building in Greenpoint has a very finely articulated and very impressive façade.

With its large, inset, multi-paned windows, this very attractive building looks like it was an impressive industrial property.
Beneath the windows, however, are discrete air-conditioners and the building is in wonderful shape because it is new and not industrial but residential.
The windows are between triple-layered piers and have inset spandrels in which the air-conditioners have been place.
The building has an attractive but simple, two-layered cornice.
The building has a very attractive website made to look like it consists of old documents with large red stamps and it proclaims that “behind a façade reminiscent of a 19th century warehouse, residents enjoy the latest in 21st Century amenities.
