Review of 30 River Court by Carter Horsley

This handsome, 33-story apartment tower at 30 River Court at the Newport complex in Jersey City was erected in 1998 by The Lefrak Organization and has 440 rental units.

It is part of a four-building complex at Newport on a peninsula that juts into the Hudson River and is known as Towers of America.  The first was the 32-story Riverside with 346 apartments, which opened in 1998  The second was the 35-story Atlantic, which has 444 units.  Construction on this 35-story tower began that year and was followed the next year by the Southampton tower.

It a riverfront property and close to a ferry, shopping and a park with a red-and-white-striped lighthouse and it is not far from a commuter bus and a subway.
