The Bryn Mawr, 333 East 66th Street: Review and Ratings

between Second Avenue & First Avenue View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 333 East 66th Street by Carter Horsley

This large, 14-story, pale orange-brick apartment building was erected in 1965 and was converted to a cooperative in 1980. It has 191 units.

The mid-block building has a 1-story base that is painted gray and a 4-step-down, canopied entrance, a doorman, a garage and sidewalk landscaping.

It is near St. Catherine's Park on the west side of First Avenue between 67th and 68th Street and half a block away from the very handsome St. John of Nepomucene Roman Catholic Church on First Avenue.

There is considerable traffic on the avenues in this neighborhood, but the sidestreets are quiet. There is good neighborhood shopping and numerous restaurants in the area and there is cross-town bus service on 67th Street.

Rockefeller University, several hospitals and Sotheby's are a few blocks to the east.
