at The Southeast corner of Second Avenue View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 300 East 71st Street by Carter Horsley

18-story, red-brick building with a low-rise wing on the sidestreet is located close to the center of the Upper East Side. It was erected in 1962 and converted to a cooperative in 1986 with 283 apartments. The building has many balconies along Second Avenue and some terrraces and a few bay windows on its upper floors. It has a concierge, doorman, garage and a large, attractive lobby. The building has a large supermarket as a retail tenant and is close to many interesting and charming restaurants and one block south of crosstown bus service. It is convenient to good neighborhood shopping and not too far from a local subway station at Lexington Avenue and 67th Street.
