This 24-story rental building at 1050 Sixth Avenue between 39th and 40th Streets was erected in 2018 and has 62 apartments. 

It was built by Skyline Developers and designed by Gene Kaufman. 

It is known as ML House, "ML" being the Roman way of denoting "1050," its address on the avenue. 

The building is around the corner from Bryant Park and is also close to Times Square.   It is also between two attractive pre-war buildings.

Bottom Line

An attractive, mid-rise rental apartment building with some large, angled balconies around the corner from the southwest end of Bryant Park.

Description

The building has a two-story high entrance with a marquee and retail space. 

Above the tenth floor the tower is setback behind a two-story architectural element and five of the top floors have large, angled balconies. 

The building has multi-pane fenestration and the windows and thin, protruding frames that give the façade considerable texture.

The building has a doorman, a fitness center, a roof deck and a residents' lounge.

Apartments

Apartment 23A is a two-bedroom unit with a large living/dining room with an open kitchen and a very long terrace that is angled at its ends. 

Apartment 17A is a two-bedroom unit with an open kitchen. 

Apartment 11A is a one-bedroom unit with an open kitchen at its entrance. 

Apartment 12D is a studio unit with a 19-foot-long living area.
