between Eighth Avenue & Ninth Avenue View Full Building Profile

Review of 330 West 58th Street by Carter Horsley

This attractive, yellow- and beige-brick, 20-story apartment building has 360 rental apartments.

The building has a doorman, a concierge, a one-story marble base, a garage, a nice lobby, discrete air-conditioners, and consistent fenestration. It has no sidewalk landscaping, no balconies and no health club.

It is across the street from the twin-towered, mixed-use building on which construction began in 2001 to replace the former New York Coliseum on Columbus Circle. It is also close to the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle.

There is excellent public transportation and good local shopping in this lively neighborhood. Central Park is half a block away.

There is considerable traffic in this area but also many restaurants and it is not far from the Theater District.
