Carter's Review

The Davos at 143 West 30th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues was erected in 2010 by Midtown Stage.

The pleasant, 15-story, mid-block building has 24 condominium apartments and two duplex penthouse units.

Bottom Line

A simple mid-block apartment building south of Herald Square with decorative fireplaces and glass-railed balconies and only two apartments per floor.

Description

The building has glass-railed balconies above the third floor and ground-floor retail space beneath a ribbed stone façade treatment beneath the second floor.

Apartments

There are two apartments a floor and each has a balcony, a decorative fireplace, nine-and-a-half-foot-high ceilings, a washer and dryer, a wine cooler, Caesarstone countertop, stainless steel kitchen appliances and individual air-conditioning and heating control.

Some 0ne-bedroom units have a 7-foot-long entry foyer that leads to 20-foot-long living room with an 11-foot-wide, north-facing balcony and an 11-foot-long, open kitchen.  The bedroom has a 7-foot-long walk-in closet.

Other one-bedroom units have a 32-foot-long living room with a 9-foot-wide south facing balcony, an open kitchen and a bedroom with a 7-foot-long walk-in closet.
