Carter's Review

This 11-story residential condominium building 132 East 30th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues in the Kips Bay neighborhood was built in 2013 and contains 10 apartments.

It was erected by the Teresharan Land Company, of which Nari Pohani is a principal, and Rohit Misra of Misra & Associates was the architect.

Bottom Line

An attractive new mid-rise apartment building with one apartment per floor in the Kips Bay neighborhood.

Description

The building has a handsome and asymmetrical fenestration pattern.

The lower six floors are similar and have double-story window surrounds.

The next two floors have staggered surrounds and railings of different lengths and the next to top floor is an angled parapet and is considerably shorter that the other floors.

The overall effect is elegant and imposing.

Amenities

The building has a landscaped roof deck, a fitness center, a part-time doorman, and storage.
